Texas Legend

The concept of a special series of steel guitars was born out of a conversation with Texas native and steel guitar afficianado Dr. Wayne Yakes and Mark Giles of Star Steel Guitars at the 2006 Southwest Steel Guitar show in Mesa Arizona.  Wayne thought that an inlay of the Alamo would make a great focal point for a special guitar.  Other  Texas Legends were discussed, such as the Bluebonnet, The Longhorn, The Yellow Rose, and the Texas Ranger. Wayne's "Alamo"  was the first of this limited series.  Only one of each Legend will be produced creating a special limited edition series.   These guitars have engraved endplates and inlayed fret boards on wood necks. in addition to the custom inlay specific to  the legend theme.
